Carol Jean does traditional Reiki in hospitals as well as in her office.  She also uses Reiki in Journeying, Space Clearing/ Spirit Extraction, Visioning, Dream work and other types of Energy Medicine.  She offers classes to help people connect with the Higher Self or Soul.  In addition, she conducts Visioning Sessions for Businesses to help them achieve their highest purposes.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a technique where the practitioner channels life force energy through his or her body to others in order to promote healing.  This is usually done through the hands.  This life force is called "Ki" in Japanese or "Chi" in Chinese.  This clothes-on method does not replace medical or psychological treatments, nor does it interfere with it.  Reiki can, however, enhance treatment and can increase one's ability to make wise decisions concerning one's health.

Although Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion.  However, it is important for one using Reiki to live in a way that promotes harmony with others.  Dr. Mikao Usui, the founder of the Reiki system of natural healing, encouraged one to practice some simple ethical ideals which would promote peace and harmony.  These ideals are nearly universal in all cultures.  Their purpose is to help people realize that in order for Reiki healing energies to have lasting results, the client must accept responsibility for his/her healing and must take an active part in it.  One must make a commitment to improve oneself in order for it to be a complete system.

To observe the arising of greed, anger and delusion, looking deeper for their true cause.

To appreciate the gift of life and be compassionate to all beings.

 To find the right livelihood and be honest in your work. 

To see with, the ever changing nature of your mind and body. 

To merge with the universal nature of the mind as Reiki flows within you.

By following these ideals daily, your mind and body will transform and healing will follow.
